From June 22-July 3 I went on a whirlwind trip to Europe, my main mission was to attend the wedding of my dearest friend from my MBA, Jo! More affectionately known as, Jojo. The wedding was to be in Geneva, but as I work in the U.S. and only get a poorly two weeks of vacation a year, I chose to make the most of the trip and cover… Five countries! In 10 days. Oh my!

Though exhausting, what came out of those 10 days was amazing. Getting away on a trip like that gives you a substantial amount of time and distance from everything and everyone in your normal routine.

And goodness knows I needed it. Prior to this trip I hadn’t been back to Europe in two years, had been working really hard for the twelve months, just moved to a new apartment {exhausting!} and was a bit drained personally too. My spirit was ready for an adventure, porous and open to change. And I had a lot on my mind.

And so, coming out of this latest adventure, I have so much to share. This trip was a mashup exposing me to long missed friends, new connections, 5 cities, 6 languages and 4 currencies. Intense to say the least.

In this next series of posts, I hope to recreate some special experiences, and that you enjoy the ride!
