Hi beauties, wow what an interesting week it’s been for me. It feels like a lot has happened in my world since week 2, but today I am firmly feeling all the gratitude for all that I have in my life today. I have been weathering some storms in my private life and I dare say, some of those storms are now behind me. Or at the very least, I can say that I’m able to adopt a new attitude and perspective.
When I look around me today I feel really glad for the home I’m in, the relationships I have, the people in my life, the circumstances that allow me to keep living a simple life. It’s far from perfect, but I feel like I’ve found my way back to myself. Back to the girl I used to be in my 20s, bold, confident, hard-working, and absolutely sure that with enough focus I could achieve anything. Over the last few years I had lost that mojo. I had lost my drive, and more importantly, I had lost my ability to focus.
But now I see that focus is not something you have to be born with (although I’d say I WAS born with it, as I was a very stubborn child, ha!) but rather it’s simply a muscle that gets stronger the more you use it. So take the small wins in your life. Be proud of even the simplest things that you can handle with ease. All these smaller accomplishments will help you fuel bigger ones. And that’s how you chase your dreams.
One of my favorite quotes: The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step.
And so, that brings us to our third and final week of #ThanktoThrive
I hope you have been enjoying it as much as I have! I hope these messages catch you at just the right time, right when you need it. I hope that by embracing a thankful attitude, you are noticing more blessings in your daily life and perhaps also feeling empowered to create more for yourself.
As you know, I believe that gratitude is the path to bring more into your life. By taking a moment to be glad for all the things that we have we are signaling out to the universe that we are grateful and appreciative of everything we’ve been given and this invites the universe to go ahead and give us even more in life to be thankful for.
In this final week, let’s allow our imaginations to dream the biggest possible dream we can for ourselves!
Week 3 theme: dream your biggest dream
Theme: As we close this gratitude challenge, I encourage you to step back and think about the biggest dreams that you have for yourself. What are somethings you always dreamed of achieving as a child?
Mantra: I am capable of reaching my dreams
Self-care Practice: Take a few minutes to remember yourself at a younger age. Really pause to go back to that place, when you were a dreamer! What did you want to do when you grew up? What are some places you wanted to go? What kind of person did you want to become? Take 5 minutes and journal it out!
Beauty: I’ll be sharing some of my favorite products that I scored during the Sephora sale soon!
Recipe: This is one of my favorite things to make when the weather gets cooler. Comforting, delicious lentil soup! Get the recipe here
Guided Meditation: This week I want us to really take root in our own inner strength! I hope you love this meditation!
